How to prepare for your Aon assessment

Preparation isn't about cramming — it's about removing surprises. A few calm habits make a noticeable difference on the day.

01

Before you start

Pick a time when you're alert — not after a long workday or workout. Charge your laptop, close other tabs, and tell anyone at home you can't be interrupted. Have water, scratch paper, and a calculator ready.

02

Your environment

Use a quiet room with stable internet. A wired connection or a strong Wi-Fi spot beats a flaky one. Sit at a real desk if you can — posture affects focus more than most people expect.

03

During the test

Read instructions carefully — they vary per test. Pace yourself: most cognitive tests reward steady accuracy over rushed guessing. If a question stalls you, mark it (if possible) and move on.

04

Personality questionnaires

There are no right answers, and consistency is checked across items. Answer honestly — the best fit is the most accurate one, not the most polished.

05

After the test

You usually get feedback from the company that invited you. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time. If you're invited to interview, expect a short retest to confirm your results.
