Scoot Pilot Assessment Practice
Scoot uses online psychometric screening in pilot selection. Public sources attribute the battery to Aon Assessment Solutions (cut-e / MAPTQ).
Why Scoot uses Aon
Aviation hiring commonly uses Aon's modular pilot library (reasoning, spatial, reaction, memory, behaviour).
Also known as cut-e, smartPredict, MAPTQ, Aon online assessment. Last reviewed 2026-08-28.

Tips for the Scoot assessment
- Practise under the real time pressure — most Aon modules are designed so candidates do not finish.
- For GYRO/RBI spatial items, sketch bearings before answering; do not rush the first seconds.
- Complete related on-site modules (scales cls, gridChallenge, scales verbal) even if some pilot-only tests are not simulated here.
Frequently asked questions
Does Scoot use Aon (cut-e) for pilot selection?
Public candidate and prep sources report that Scoot uses Aon Assessment Solutions (formerly cut-e), usually delivered via MAPTQ. Always confirm the provider named in your invitation.
Which practice tests on this site match the pilot battery?
Practice the on-site modules listed on this page (for example scales cls, scales verbal, gridChallenge). Aviation-only modules such as spatial orientation and reaction speed are described here but not yet simulated on-site.
Can the battery change between hiring waves?
Yes. Airlines select modules from Aon's library, so the exact set can differ by campaign. Treat module lists as commonly reported, not guaranteed.
